Tale of the Team

The Urban Legendz team came together full circle around late 2001. Clientel had already been using the name to showcase his production and DJ skills to the people of North Carolina under a powerful name. Rhythmatic was always a part of the team from the beginning due to their friendship growing up in North Carolina. Solomon completed the trio in late 2001 when the U.S. Marines moved him to Jacksonville, NC. Other members came and went but this core never broke.

Clientel is the Mastermind behind the boards. A lot like the choppy style of DJ Premier and the commercial appeal of greats like Kanye West, Just Blaze and Alchemist, he quickly made a name for himself when he offered to produce Solomon's Local Debut The Law. Clientel became one of the hottest producers in town. Local greats such as D Strange, Wild Bill, Creek Boyz, and 50/50were looking him up for a serving of his soulful yet grungy sound.

Solomon is the Bronx B-boy emcee of the team. He came to NC as a result of joining the U.S. Marine Corps in 2001. When he and Clientel began working on The Law, the first joint recorded was an instant hit among the local radio spots and record stores. Solomon was also recording jingles for Radio shows and commercials for local record stores to be able to add to the fame of the Urban Legendz team.

Rhythmatic is the Old School B-boy with the rugged delivery. He produces on the side under the name Kevlar Productions. Talented in both Rhymes and Beats, he has showcased in front of record labels in local spotlights and produced some of the hottest beats being played around Eastern North Carolina.

The team is always working on new material as any group should be. They are also teaching young up and coming Legendz like Montana and Loft. Their material is vast and their record list reads like a Biblical rendition of Hip Hop. Clientel has recorded 1 album - Clear and Present Danger and has released a series of instrumental albums. Solomon has recorded 3 albums - The Law, World Series, and The Answer. Rhythmatic has recorded 2 albums - Survival of the Realest and Higher Learning.
